A Tantric Vampire is closely related to the Sexual Vampire, the Eros Vampire and the Incubus/Succubus. The difference is...the Sexual vamp feeds from the sexual energies given off by a donor, the Eros vamp inspires and feeds off emotions such as love and lust, the Incubus/Succubus will feed from any of these but only takes, never gives in return. The Tantric Vampire feeds from any of these as well but with other Tantric Vampires and they both give and take creating an intensity that can be rather addictive for both partners involved. They are very good at projecting (to the point of being unaware that they are doing so at times), are often heavily empathic and carry very deep long term connections to those that they partner up with. They are also very sensitive to the energetic signatures of those around them to the point of secluding themselves amongst those of similar energies, not out of a sense of elitism but rather because the chaotic nature of energies that do not resonate well with their own can have adverse effects and cause strange reactions such as mesmerizing those people that they cross paths with to the point of adoration. This is a difficult situation for the Tantric Vampire because or their own highly empathic and compassionate natures, for they do not enjoy the thought of hurting anyone’s feelings and it pains them to see someone “taken in” by this side of them if the feelings are not mutual. And so a certain amount of caution is often learned early on by most of those with a Tantric nature.



When it comes to the Tantric feed, it is not the “end zone” of intercourse that is often sought out but rather it is the extremely intoxicating build of energy that occurs beforehand. Foreplay takes on an entirely new meaning to the Tantric. The experience of the softest brush of lips against skin, or even something so subtle as the warmth of breath on the back of ones neck can create an intensity of reaction that will be rapturous to a Tantric.

Pyrokinesis – mastery over fire.

Aquakinesis – mastery over water.

Geokinesis – mastery over earth.

Aerokinesis – mastery over air.

Fulgurkinesis – mastery over lightning



Mental

Magic of the mind would be best described as magic of the will. This category includes a slew of powers that rely on the will of the user. The mental talents are many and varied, from telekinesis, which can be used to a devastating effect, to harmonizing, which enables the mage to make beautiful flower arrangements.

Telekinesis – ability to move objects with your mind.

Projection – ability to transmit images and feelings to the minds of other.

Therionology – ability to command animals. Practitioners are usually known as animal mages. Rare.

Harmonizing – ability to arrange one’s environment to invoke a specific feeling or mood.

Elenchus – ability to distinguish lie from truth, also known as truthseeking. Extremely rare.



Arcane

The word “arcane” means known or understood by very few. True to definition, the arcane branch of magic talents is poorly understood even by those who are born with these magic powers. Power of arcane magic users comes from reaching into arcane realm, a place of magic outside of our typical reality. Their talents are frequently disturbing.

Enerkinesis – mastery over magic energy.

Summoning – ability to cause manifestation of creatures.

Animating – ability to impart life to inanimate objects.

Binding – ability to fuse or bind something found in the arcane realm to human host with purpose of giving the host new magic powers.





Homeopathic Magic

Homeopathic Magic is based on the assumption that like produces like. It means that if some form of action is performed on something, it will have a same impact on the intended real thing.

Sympathetic Magic or Imitative Magic

Sympathetic Magic on the core principle that if it is performed on some object(s), the same would happen to the person or object which is under influence. The relation is made between the objects based on the presumption that one can influence something based on the attachment.

Contagious Magic

Contagious magic supports the notion that if a person has contact with certain things, they will influence the person who is under contact with those things. The most common example of this type of magic can be seen in use of voodoo dolls. Voodoo dolls are attached with a part of fingernails, hair or teeth of the targeted person. The voodoo doll, then is assumed to be the person himself and it can be used of to hurt the victim. This type of magic falls under black magic, since it is practiced to cause harm or injury to others.

There are a few more terms related to magic which themselves can be considered as types of magic. Here are some:

Divination: Seeing or predicting things under divine influence and intervention.

Occult: Occult means beyond ordinary understand and which is difficult and hidden to see. Chaldean, in the occult philosophy is referred to the person skilled in occult learning.

Thaumaturgy: Thaumaturgy is a term which denotes the art of magic which invokes supernatural powers

ESP: ESP is the power to perceive things which are not present to the senses

Theurgy: Theurgy is a part of white magic performed with the help of spirits. It is basically performed by Neoplatonists to bring in supernatural or divine intervention in human affairs.

Voodooism: Voodooism is a religious cult which involves use of voodoo dolls, witchcraft and animistic deities for inflicting effects on selected targets.

Ceremonial or Ritual

This depends on religion to religion and is generally performed for both positive and negative purposes. This involves but isn't limited to removal of spirit possession, prosperity, injury to some party or parties, better next life form, etc.

Tantra: Tantra was introduced by Hindu and Buddhist religions. Tantra involves use of elements such as mantras and mudras (spells) from Vedas (sacred texts) recited for getting things done magically.

Alchemy: More than magic, alchemy was considered to be a science, very rare people new during medieval times. Alchemy was supposedly performed by alchemists who had the ability to turn ordinary metals into gold.

Necromancy: Necromancy involves conjuring up the dead for prophesying or delivering a sermon. Necromancy is performed along with use of evil spirits to produce supernatural effects in the world.

Gnosis: Gnosis is understanding and possession of intuitive knowledge of spiritual truths.
